The Song Players Workshop was created to teach people how to have more fun playing music. We’ve observed that lots of people have learned to play guitar, but have been focusing the mechanics of playing and not spending the time to learn how to play more songs. Playing songs is just more fun than just playing parts of songs to improve the mechanics of playing.

Yes, it’s easier than ever to find songs to play on the internet. Then why is your collection of songs that you play so small? There are a few reasons this might be happenings. The first is that many of the song sheets on the internet are incorrect. How are they incorrect? Well, they may not be far off, but just enough to make it hard to play and sing the songs easily.

In the Song Players Workshop, we show you how to fix the errors to make the songs more playable. Many times the songs are transcribed directly in the recorded key making them harder to play than they need to be. We show you how to adjust these songs into a more playable key and use a capo to get them back to the original key. Most of the time the how they were actually recorded.
